- Congratulations to the Symphonic Band, Choir, and Jazz Band who performed very well at the Annual General Meeting last Sunday. Well done! Many positive comments.
-Congratulations to current student Rhys Poirier and CEC Music Alum Alexis Grant on their band “The Orchids” winning a Nova Scotia Music Award this past weekend!
-Our Toronto/Niagara Falls Trip List will be posted Monday. Thank you to everyone that signed up.
-There are 86 students registered for the music program. Mr.MacLeod’s barber is coming in at lunch on Friday to shave his head in the CEC Foyer.
-Thank you to Sam Wilson for the great workshop last week!
-St. FX faculty will be coming in last period on Thursday to perform for the CEC Music students and talk about their music program.

-Congratulations to Rhys Poirier, Gavin Hicks, and Aidan Minugh (TULIP) on their performance at the home Football Game this Sunday!
- We currently have 82 students registered for music!!

First Symphonic rehearsal will be happening Monday, September 15th (3:15-5pm)
First choir rehearsal will be Thursday September 18th (3:15-5:00pm)
Jazz Ensemble Auditions will take place September 9-11th at lunch in the Band Room. Sign up is outside the band room!
