All Jazzed Up

Music Trip
We have our music trip sign up ready to go!.
First non refundable deposit of $100 due March 6 (limited spaces on coach so first come first served). It is going to be a fantastic trip!
Musical
-Our musical this year is School of Rock. Pit Band and Cast have begun rehearsals. It is shaping up to be a great show! Performances April 6th, 7th, 10th, 12th, and 13th
-As musical gets closer, there will be less band/choir rehearsals.

Pridhams will be taking pictures of all music ensembles on March 20th during lunch. Please make sure to bring your uniforms!

-Thank you to Janice Alcorn and Dawson Gillis for working with the choir this month!
-Thank you to Steve Hartlen, Andrew Alcorn, Brett Dill, Holly Hartlen, James Stewart, Sheena Henderson, Sean McLennon, Mark Carroll, Nicole MacLeod, and Sam Sipos for instrumental clinics this past Monday.

-Our Annual General Meeting is Sunday Oct.15th at 6:30pm in the CEC AV Room. All music students are asked to dress in black pants, shoes, and socks. A CEC T-shirt will be provided this week.
Following the performances our General Meeting will be taking place in the back of the AV Room.
-We were fortunate to have had St. FX Music faculty Jake Hanlon, Kenji Omae, and Carloyn Curry (accompanied by 4th year students) perform and answer questions this past Thursday.
-This Thursday we will have international Harpist Nöel Wan performing second period for our CEC Music Students. She won a Gold Medalist of the 2022 12th USA International Harp Competition.
